Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Spanio, you agree to these Terms of Use.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the app.

License

Subject to these Terms and Apple’s App Store rules, Spanio grants users a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for personal, lawful purposes.

This license does not transfer ownership of the app or its intellectual property.

App Store Purchases and Billing

Spanio is distributed exclusively as a paid application through the Apple App Store.

Purchases, billing, taxes, refunds, subscriptions if introduced later, and payment processing are handled by Apple under the user’s Apple ID and App Store terms.

Spanio does not directly process payment card information.

App availability, regional pricing, Family Sharing, and refund policies are controlled by Apple.

If the app is downloaded, installed, modified, redistributed, or obtained through unauthorized third-party sources, the user assumes full responsibility for any resulting risks, including security issues, data loss, malware, instability, unsupported behavior, or violations of applicable laws or platform policies.

Spanio does not provide support, guarantees, or responsibility for unofficial or modified distributions of the app.

User Responsibilities

Users are responsible for:

  • Maintaining backups of important information
  • Managing exported backup files securely
  • Configuring device permissions and visibility settings
  • Reviewing reminder and notification settings
  • Ensuring compliance with applicable laws when using the app

Users are responsible for any information they enter into Spanio.

Backups and Data Loss

Spanio includes local backup and optional iCloud backup features, but no storage system is guaranteed to be error-free.

Users should maintain their own backup practices for important data.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Spanio is not responsible for:

  • Data loss
  • Corrupted backups
  • Interrupted sync behavior
  • Device failures
  • iCloud availability issues
  • Calendar or notification system failures

iCloud and Apple Services

Certain features depend on Apple services, including:

  • iCloud
  • Calendar
  • Notifications
  • Widgets
  • App Store services

Availability and functionality may vary based on:

  • Apple ID settings
  • Device compatibility
  • Operating system version
  • Regional availability
  • Network access
  • Apple’s infrastructure status

Spanio is not responsible for interruptions or limitations caused by Apple services.

Permissions

Spanio may request access to:

Permissions are optional and can be managed through iOS Settings.

Disabling permissions may limit certain features.

Prohibited Use

Users may not:

  • Reverse engineer the app
  • Attempt to bypass licensing or App Store integrity checks

The app may contain bugs, interruptions, or unexpected behavior.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Spanio and its owner shall not be liable for:

  • Lost profits
  • Device issues
  • Service interruptions
  • Backup failures
  • Sync conflicts

This limitation applies even if the possibility of damages was known.

Termination

These Terms remain in effect until terminated.

Users may stop using Spanio at any time by removing the app from their device.

Spanio reserves the right to restrict or terminate access where legally permitted.
